You there was a time when the Form Motor Company used to make care that would decapitate young children who were in the front when car seats were not standard for children, when the elderly used to die in minor car accidents because seat belts were not standard or available, when a mere shoulder harness was considered an oddity.

I think that now days common people have access to lawyer without the need to come out of pocket for monies, (this was not legal before the 1970’s) which give a regular man the power to pick a fight with a huge business entity like a manufacturing company that makes dangerous products, it put regular people on a level playing field with the powerful, it is an American concept, it is a democratic achievement. We need to guard out liberties, not allow big corporate interest to poison us against out own guardians of freedom, the trial lawyers also and better know as Jury Lawyer.
