Each car accident case is unique and has its own set of facts and circumstances; however, when filing a complaint in court against the other party, there are typically common criteria that must be included to avoid having the complaint dismissed.  The complaint should include the name of the plaintiff and defendant, that the amount in controversy exceeds the jurisdictional limits of the court, the facts setting forth the plaintiff's injury, that the defendant had a duty to the plaintiff and that the duty was breached and because of the breach the plaintiff suffered injury and will continue to suffer and accumulate medical bills and lost wages.  In general, it is a good idea not to plead to specifically and only put enough information in your complaint so as to avoid having it dismissed.
