Brooke Sharmin grew up in Frisco, Texas, just north of Dallas.  At an early age, Brooke developed an interest in figure skating which led to a competitive skating career and numerous awards and medals in her early childhood.  Although she no longer ice skates, the hard work and discipline she learned at a young age continues with her today.

Brooke attend Tulane University in New Orleans where she served as Vice-President of Hosting for the Student Admissions Committee and was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. During her time at Tulane, she tutored and mentored inner city children.  It was during this time that Brooke decided to pursue a law degree focusing on the representation of children and families. Brooke graduated cum laude from Tulane in 2000 with degrees in English and Political Science.

After graduating from Tulane, Brooke began law school at Syracuse University.  It was there she met her husband Eiman who would change her life forever and revolutionize her approach to life.  While at Syracuse, Brooke participated in the Family Law and Social Policy Clinic as a student attorney.  This experience taught her the importance of knowing her clients, knowing the facts, knowing the law and being prepared and organized.  Brooke graduated from Syracuse Law school cum laude in 2003.

After graduating from Syracuse Law, Brooke and Eiman packed everything they owned into a U-Haul trailer and drove from New York to West Palm Beach, Florida with their cat Paneer.  Brooke received a job with the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County as an attorney ad litem with the Foster Children's Project.  Brooke represented children in dependency proceedings who had been removed by the state from their parents for abuse, abandonment or neglect.  Brooke spent one and a half years with the Legal Aid Society before joining her husband in private practice where she focused her career on litigating cases.

Brooke lives with her husband Eiman, her 2 year old son, Samuel, her new born son Sonny and her dog and cat in Lake Worth, Florida.  She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.
